...who do you think you are, running around leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart...

Thursdays bring the same nostalgic feelings as Octobers do. Kinda like, take me back in time when Thursday used to be the last working day of the week and Friday and Saturday were holidays. That makes Sunday as the first day of the week. We spent the day going out to my aunt's every Thursday and watching an old, crazy movie with my cousins. What am I missing about that time? I'm not sure. But the thing I miss most about my childhood was the eagerness to grow up and share what I had to give. Every second of my childhood still within reach of my recall has somehow been tied with the one person that I waited to meet and did meet only later, to be unsure of any feeling towards it.

Working since 7am, the crazy routine is taking its toll on me but at least it gives me no time to go into another train of thoughts. But Thursdays, ah, they are something I so dearly love. That's all for now, need to rush once more.

Question for the day: What was the fairy tale that has never failed to charm you?

Come by tomorrow!
Take care~

13 Things Girls Want Guys To Know

1. Don't be all over us. We like a little challenge every once in a while. If you make yourself look too available, you end up looking desperate. We like the courting game to linger on a bit before we settle down in a romantic routine.

2. One of the best ways to make up to us is to tell us how beautiful we are and how we fill your otherwise boring life with colors. Chics dig compliments! ;)

3. You don't have to buy us expensive gifts. We love the little things far better than the big stuff that screams pompousness after a while. Sometimes, it's the tiniest thing that has us falling heads over heels in love with you.

4. We are perfect homemakers. We're born to do that sometime down the line. And though we always seem to have a problem with how you work in the kitchen, sitting in front of the television leaving it all up to us isn't the solution either. Okay go ahead and watch the tele, but be sure to stay tuned to all the efforts we put in for you in the kitchen. It keeps us happy and makes us want to do better for you.

5. We like to be swirled into a sudden couple dance in the middle of our tv lounge, at the oddest times, to a sappy, mushy number. And when we're done, we want to tip up on our bare toes and give you a kiss for being such a romantic.

6. You don't always have to be so dressed up. We love it when you look lazy and casual. It drives us mad.

7. We can put up with everything, absolutely everything, except a bad body odor. Bad breath's worse. Seen all those "Axe" ads where all girls go gaga over a single man whose wearing the perfume? Even if he's not hot? Or those minty tooth paste ads where the girl seems to get hooked up with a guy who has an awesome fresh breath? Well, there're not all bluff you know. Pay attention.

8. So you're least favorite sport is shopping. But we love it when you take out time to spend a day with us shopping and even better, participating in it generously in helping us find the color that's perfect for us. We're modern women and we are independent. We're smart shoppers, you know. Just come along and we will really appreciate your interest in something just because it interests us.

9. We think you're sexy when you're shaving, fixing things, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, driving, and when you're holding a baby. We love it when you're sweaty. Gives us all sorts of nasty thoughts!

10. We want to hear "I love you" as often as we can but make sure you mean it when you say it. When you don't mean it, it shows and nothing hurts more than an empty confession of love.

11. We love it when you hold our hands in public. It's something all of us girls secretly drool about. We want to know you're possessive about us and we want it to show too! Hold our hands, pass a comment in our ear, make us laugh to a joke that's just meant for us both. We want you to be very much aware of our presence even in public, and we want you to show me off to the world like your pretty diamond!

12. Trust us and let us trust you. It's better to leave us than to cheat. Don't lie. It's better to hurt us with the truth than to comfort us with a lie. Yes, we mean it.

13. And most importantly, respect us and respect our individuality. Respect our principles, respect our dreams and respect our body. Don't look at us as a mere body but look at us with a person full of strengths and weakness just like yourself. If you respect us as a woman of substance, you will get a woman of substance back. And if you respect our family and loved ones, well, then you've just earned yourself the most loyal partner!

A Girl's Wish List: Hair, Nails, Wardrobe and Bags!

{I so love kitties, sigh!}

So I'm jobless these days. What the heck. I am enjoying the craziest of routines I have ever had in my life. Staying up all night watching horror movies or something really crappy on YouTube, sleeping at the brink of dawn, (obviously) waking up late, only to resume reading a romantic novel I bought second hand. No, no, let me make this VERY clear I'm not a romantic-novel-girl. I detest them. Personally I kinda think they are silly, especially the ones in which the girl is excessively pretty and the guy is hopelessly handsome and all they ever wanna do is make love *rolls eyes* I'm too old to believe love is like that. I'm reading such stuff just for the silly fun of it. Mindless I am these days, mindless I tell you. My mind is on vacation and I'm in no mood for a serious job hunt. That can wait till the time I'm ready to give it my 100% devotion once more. I'm thinking a lot, day dreaming about the things I need to do once I take charge again. I can do all that even now, but the real fun lies in doing it all by yourself, on your own pocket. The feeling of being self sufficient and independent is amazing! It's like a habit. And if you happen to be married, it tends to become a bad habit. So here goes my top ten things I want to do in no particular order:

1. I want a brand new hair cut.I've never tried many different things with my hair because I fear damaging them. Girls out there would know there's nothing like what a totally new hair cut can do when she wants a change! So I have the most expensive place in my mind already (how vain!) because I want it leave it to the professionals to treat me to something divine!

2. Dye my hair deep burgundy. I don't even know if it will suit me or not, but hey, what's wrong in trying? If not a burgundy then a fresh shade of brown will do.

3. Change my wardrobe. Completely. From scratch. Yes I mean it. And yes, I want to have a brand new stock of high heels. Deep red shades, very sexy.

4. Nail Art. Found a girl who does nail art in Lahore. Don't know about the rest but she does pretty well. I'm gona get it done and yes, I'm gonna show it off on my blog and not worry if I seem cheap in any way *LOL*
(Psst... I have a lot of nail art ideas coming up on my blog, ladies. Stay tuned!)

5. Curl up my hair. It's what I've always and always and always wanted since I was a little girl. I have LOVED the idea of curly hair. Curly, burgundy hair? Sounds awesome, doesn't it?

6. Learn pencil sketching properly. Haven't seen my artwork yet? Click HERE to check it out and tell me what you think about it.

7. Completing my masters and I wanna do it the best way I can, acing of course. (I feel a little embarrassed coming to my masters part so later in this list!) :D

8. Write a book. Well, this has nothing to do with me having a job or not; and it isn't something I can get done in a few days either. This is a long term plan. No harm in adding it to this list anyway.

9. See the world. I wanna go see the world with the royalties my book will give me. Yes I expect the book to be a hit! ;-) Optimism!

10. Have a rocking website someday. I'll be one of those famous writers who have a personal website address given on the back cover :P More site hits for me that way! Oh yes, and employing SEO as well. Do you know I have lately crossed an all time hits of 100,000 on this site? Cheers!!

I know this all sounds so vain, so extravagant and I may appear to be just like any spend thrift. But hey, you will never get to be 24 again!! Okay so I'm not 21 anymore but what the heck... I'm not gonna be 24 either! Better enjoy it while it lasts, girl.

Have a (vain-as-boys-call-it) wish list? Feel free to blog about it and share one here too!
Pucker up to some girl powa, guys! ;-)
